New partnership helps Vermont homeowners market vacation rentals and accept direct bookings
Vermont — September 14, 2026 — The Vermont Short Term Rental Alliance (VTSTRA) has announced a new local partnership: all current and new VTSTRA members will receive a complimentary membership to Stayclass, a Vermont-only direct-booking vacation rental platform — a value of $199 or more per year.
The partnership reflects VTSTRA’s ongoing commitment to supporting the people who own and operate short-term rentals across Vermont, not just through advocacy and policy work, but with tools that help hosts strengthen their businesses, reach more travelers, and build more direct bookings.
“Short-term rental hosts are dealing with a lot right now — more regulations, rising costs, and changing traveler demands,” said Julie Marks, Founder and Executive Director of VTSTRA. “This partnership gives our members another way to get discovered, build direct bookings, and keep more control over their businesses and guest relationships.”
Stayclass grew out of Vermontproperty.com’s decades of history serving Vermont hosts and travelers. Today, Stayclass helps Vermont vacation rental owners get discovered by travelers looking to book Vermont vacations without relying exclusively on large national booking platforms.
Unlike commission-based marketplaces, Stayclass is designed to help hosts build direct relationships with guests while maintaining control over their pricing, bookings, and business.
“Hosts should be able to get discovered and build direct bookings without giving up control of their business or a percentage of every reservation,” said Palmer Lintz, co-founder and CEO of Stayclass. “Through this partnership, VTSTRA members have another way to reach Vermont travelers, strengthen their direct-booking business, and build guest relationships they own.”
Starting September 14th, 2026, all VTSTRA members can claim their free Stayclass subscription by logging into their VTSTRA member portal.
