Protect Vermont Vacation Rentals

Protect Vermont Vacation Rentals

If you love visiting Vermont and staying at a vacation rental, please donate to the only local organization working to protect our boutique community of local hosts. All over Vermont, short-term rentals (STRs) are under threat of being shut down by unreasonable regulations.

Show your support for vacation rental tourism with a gift to the Vermont Short Term Rental Alliance (VTSTRA).

Everything we do relies on the efforts of 2 part-time employees and a handful of volunteers. As such, we have little capacity to fundraise. Your donation will help us be able to do more for our members and our industry at large.

We are grateful for any amount, here are some real-life costs we will incur in 2025:

  • $100 = 1 month of keeping our website live

  • $255 = 1 hour of legal counsel on ordinance law

  • $1,000 = representation at 1 statewide convention/conference

  • $1,250 = 1 month of lobbying & political strategy support

  • $5,000 = supports 1 month of VTSTRA staffing

Thank you!
